![]() They aren't pricey (under $20 for a can). Then I discovered Pepper Spray Grenades, the kind that once the button is pushed, the whole can empties. Its a damn fine attitude changer (most of the time) but I always get bitten by it too and its worse when a buddy decides to use it without giving a warning just as I'm stepping in to make the arrest the old fashion way. I love to hate and hate to love Pepper Spray. Still, "Bullets & Band Aids" were only part of what I wanted to add. Trauma gear was a big addition to my daily carry, not just for me but also for family. The Freddie Gray Riots proved to me that guns weren't gonna be the only thing I might need if things got "needy". I grew up with the 68 riots and remember they didn't really stop until the 82nd showed up with Gun Jeeps and loaded M60s. I had my share of AKs, RPKs, ARs and even a few BeltFeds). I always considered myself "prepared" in a Mel Tappen "Survival Guns" sorta way, (for those of you who are familiar, Mel Tappen was a Survivalist Guru of the 1980s -google him for more). The Freddie Gray nonsense in Baltimore was a "reset" for me.
